Retirement
So you have paid your house off and you are waiting for Retirement. Your job has been your life however you have dreams and things you still want to achieve. Your 401K has been halved and you are not sure what to do. Will the money bounce back? Maybe not in your lifetime. What else could you do to earn an income and combine it with the things you love or things you know a lot about. You have 50 -60 years of life experience. You have a lot to teach people.
Look at all your options. 401K, retirement plan, pensions, do you quailify for The Federal Thrift Savings Plan, or TSP. TSP is for members of the uniformed services or civilians who are, or previously were, employed by the United States Government. It is a retirement savings plan with very low overheads. Look at property investing and businesses including online businesses.
Now is the time to value everything that you know and put it to good use in another field. Learn to use a computer and set up an online business. Start teaching other people the skills that you have. Start doing all the things that you were waiting to retire to do. Retirement is really a state of mind. Some people never stop working becasue they love it so much it is not like work. You can always get a lower paid job that you really enjoy so that you have a better work life balance. Investigate Settlement Funding to access future cash.
In Retirement you are still going to do things anyway. You are not going to sit around the house watching TV. Well maybe in the beginning but then you get bored. So why not start yours while you are working. There is no reason to stay in a job you hate just because you have ‘lost’ money. Do something you love and money may flow to you in ways you never imagined.
What have you always wanted to do? What have you been putting off? What are your dreams? Do them now. Life is not a dress rehearsal. You are the one responsible for your Retirement Plan
